These poufs are both furniture and works of art. Except for the Moroccan Original leather, they're crafted from 100 percent real soft goat leather. After purchasing the skin, we hand paint it and dry it in the scorching sun of Marrakesh, then cut and hand-stitch it before sending it to the outskirts of Marrakesh to be finished with silk embroidery by local Berber women to display professional craftsmanship. Each unit requires the efforts of five workers and takes one day to complete. For easy stuffing, there's a hidden bottom zipper.
To save money on shipping, these poufs are sold unstuffed. Cotton batting, old garments, towels, blankets, and shredded foam are all good options for achieving the desired stiffness.
Please be aware that all of our poufs are genuine and handcrafted. Natural imperfections and variances between the pieces contribute to their originality because they are not mass-produced or machine crafted. As a result, a mark or even a minor color variation lends prestige to the goods. The smell of leather is natural because the product is made of leather and has not been treated with dangerous chemicals, although it will fade with time. We make every effort to accurately depict the product. This is a product that will last for many years and can be passed down to future generations. This object is made by five artisans.
